I spend my days
when I'm not taking it in the "juh-ip"
at home
on the seat that hasn't seen love in months
fingers flying
in the hopes that I might
make something
of myself.
I might get up
to walk outside a bit
that way when I'm filling in blanks
I can answer truthfully to the Sun question.
It's no way to spend a day
but damned if I go out there for too long.
The youth minister's wife has taken all she can get from me...
Dennis Du-fucking-lay has taken everything he can get his grubby little Hero hands on and my solution is to stay inside
away from the thing that stole the pigment
from my heart
and grow pale in the greatness
of watching Experts at play.

more questions than answers for me - what is "juh-ip"? Guessing that the rainbow is showing through the rain - but Hero? Sun question? Experts at play? I'm lost.

I think I might be insulted if you managed to figure out the meaning of my very ambiguous piece here. Much of my writing consists of inside jokes that no one gets but me. Which doesn't do much for readers, but it's a way of remembering what was going on at the time. A journal of sorts. I won't go into explanation about this piece, but I will say that it has nothing to do with Rainbows.
