Swimming in the memories of a yesterday,
That can never return.
Better to lose myself in the delicious pain of remembering your love,
Than to live every moment in the unbearable knowledge,
That I let it all go.
Now, all I think about is you.
Your smile, letting me know that I was the only one.
Your laughter, that washed over me in waves,
Erasing everything but the beauty of your love.
Forgive me for regretting my actions,
You taught me to follow the directions I took,
Forgetting the past.
But how can I forget the feel of your hand in mine?
How can I forget all of the memories we have shared?
You said you would love me until death,
I believed you.
It was me that I couldn't trust.
I thought it couldn't last.
Just a second,
And the moment of memories ended.
One moment,
And the beautiful sorrow is gone.
I am still alone.

i really hope it's not a personal experience, b/c i know it hurts.
I like the poem, even though it sounds much like a prose or such
The reader can see the regret there... well done
Thank you for entering :-)
