Luminous Shroud

Shrouded in human body
I am blind
Cannot hear
Or feel

Yet outside time
Something stirs
An oracle
Dances around the periphery
Of my sensitive self
Key elements of life
Containing blazing light
Are unlocked
Within

A memory
Of you all
Whispering
“We will never leave you”
Vibrates through me
My answer
“Who am I?”
Rings in perfect pitch

You hear...

I know...

I am you

Enigmatic lilt to my lips
Lingers through this life time
For I have risen

Author notes

The ones I'm addressing in the third and forth stanzas are those voices that our inner selves hear but our physical ears are deaf to. Those telepathic celestial beings who surround us.

'I am born of the Word;
I am made of the Word;
I am spoken by the Word;
I am the Word incarnate;
One Word - one phrase -
one universe - One Word.' Balldinger

    and in his power I still feel his presence in song and prayer. Carry him wherever you travel and allow others to feel His presence as well, just as this poem.

    Thank you for sharing your enlightenment through your magnificent pen with all of us. This is absolutely brilliant and you left me with my jaw sitting in my lap here. You took my breath away and I'm still trying to find it in the words I leave for you. I feel a karma so peaceful from your soul which you bared in this amazing piece. I wish you the very best, though this sounds golden to me. Love and God bless you always, in all ways. Joyce
