True Lifestory

We have gathered here today
To pay our respect
To the soul so grand
The on who never seized
To stop and say hi to the world

Though little I knew him
We had met only by a chance
But he taught me importance
Of unbent strength and courage

Today just early afternoon
I was walking through the woods
For afternoon exercise routine
For a second I took a long sigh
And my lips cracked open

Suddenly little in size for sure
Took a leap of final courageous step
And dived deep into the ocean of saliva
All the way touching the grounds of my tongue

Panic suddenly took over
I tried my best to save the soul
I coughed up till I couldn’t breathe
Tears were gushing through my eyes
Perspiration was at its peak
As my body was bent on my knees

Seconds seemed minute, minute seemed hours
Hours seems a life time
With last breathe he drowned
As I swallowed it alive

Everything happens for a reason
Gentle courageous soul was determined
He knew I was to learn choking in martial arts class
He only wanted to help me understand
So I was well prepared to be choked
While I was to practice with my peers

Lord rest his drowned soul
A little bug lived his life hopefully to the fullest
Even during his last second
He went head on inside
Only to teach me the lessons of life
Walk through woods with mouth shut tight
If I want to remain vegetarian
Else be well prepared to take the road
Leading to being carnivore
And thus fulfilled his purpose he was sent to accomplish…
May good Lord rest his drowned soul
Pick him on his hands
To flutter freely in the clouds
And give courage to his family
So they can go on living a bug’s life
As courageous and rewarding…

So, let’s join hands
Salute to the spirited bug
Who gave up his life smilingly
For the benefit of the society…

…A true bug’s life story
