Deep Blue rolling along the coastline,
too dark to see the swept up drift wood.
The frothy brink of the water's edge plays tag,
as blue breaks clear then slinks into the shadows of the sand.
Highlighting the waves' dance with a man like face
the moon shines high above the nights picture.
Hush child,
hark the lovers call,
Swept away in the ocean of nothing,
her cry stolen by the wind.
Lost without a love,
on the sands of romance.
