The Lord's Prayer

MY Father, who art in Hell,
Hallowed be my name.
Thy Kingdom has come,
Thy will is done, on earth as it is in the universe.
Give me this day, and this day only,
And the realization no one can fight for me, and no one can fight for you,
And lead me not to confident beliefs,
But deliver me from knowledge,
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, until I rot.
Amen.

Author notes

This isn't a literal prayer to the Christian Satan, but more or less to ourselves.

I know I listed this as humor, but that was a mistake. This isn't making fun of the actual Lord's prayer; just my personal modification of it. I was talking to some people about satanism and what it actually is: self-empowerment. This is kind of my self-empowerment prayer...you know like a morning mantra (ha).

i don't see how satanism is about self-empowerment so much as illusionary self-empowerment and self-destruction.

true self-empowerment lies in surrender to greater wisdom than your own. christ's wisdom, which is obviously the wisdom i choose to follow, promotes service to self through service to others.

be blessed to be a blessing. that's why i just love it so much!

Well then I guess you'll be glad to know I think satanism is about as lame as anime.

    Wow,

Very interesting.. A bit twisted, but I know living in this planet can just make about anyone not know what end is up. Very creative. Thanks for sharing. Peace.
