As the sunsets and darkness looms
An estranged affair is witnessed
The lord of day approaches the goddess of night
He baths her in his magnificence
Setting her gown alight
All she does is smile wearily shaking her head at the sight
Her hand reaches out gently taking his chin
He rests his head in it while slowly receding his brilliance
Allowing himself to be calmed by her
Allowing her to rule his sky again
