What was I thinking
Why did I say what I did
I just wanted you to know
How I felt about you
Now I feel like I've pushed you away
I love you more than just a friend
But maybe I should have left it alone
And kept my feelings hidden
Now I regret saying the stuff
Even though it was all true
And came straight from my heart
Going straight to yours
Maybe one day
These feelings will fade
But until then

Not so sure this is what I was looking for. It seems to be sort of dark, but not really. It's a good write none the less. I think you did a great job conveying your feelings. Great job and thank you for entering my contest.

Aww thats sad.. i know how you feel.. i was in love with my best guy friend for 3 years.. then finaly my senior year i looked at him and i was like i love you .. and he said.. well you should not.. your my best friend... your scareing me and he walked away.. lol i turned around and cried .. then like a week later we talked on the computer and he explained all his feelings to me.. we stayed best friends.. but till this day i still love him!!!!! Great poem.. and thanx for shareing it with me.. good luck in my contest

Its so important to be able to tell those who you love and care about, how you feel.
No matter what comes of it.
Honestly and truth lie hand in hand.
Never regret telling how you feel Angel.
