Have you ever felt shadow, frightened night,
failure, vagrant in virgin fields
found in trials of tortured trails?
Or have you welcomed nature entwining,
the silent sun shining
the light of the new day-
escaping elusive secrets of colder caves,
for future flights of fantasy,
fields of tomorrow’s promises?
