Some of us are afraid
Of what our lives will become.
Some of us are afraid
Of what life will bring us.
Some of us are worried
Of how other people live their lives.
But some of us are foolish
For thinking that life's got no meaning.
Don't you think that what we have
Is precious beyond words?
Don't you think it's a joy
To live our lives with others?
As for me, I think my life
Is a blessing in disguise.
Because although there are times
Where I felt no reason to live
I'm thankful I have it still.
The joy of living isn't that absurd.
Life is a blessing in disguise,
And I'm thankful I woke up this morning
And had a chance to experience another day.
