Panoramic intensity breathes heated run,
gasping with quickened grasp
the dart and dash of hungry eyes,
penetrating darkness for spy of listened ear.
Creeping vines wake below underbrush
as silkened scent inhales,
emitting uncontrived reason,
resonating impromptu shrill of respired shriek.
Beneath warm palpitations of thundered beat
steps trace nether earth,
expose nested mate,
sniffing warm blood of captured, covert revelations.
Cloak and dagger skulk lurches,
springing prowl to extemporaneous arousal,
borrowing beginnings of active survival,
as colors crash an estrus visioned night.
