Sometimes when

Other times
My heart prances
To a lento tone.
Whether the music be
Staccato or legato
My heart loves
Every root.

Beautiful! We need to listen to our hearts every day. Our hearts do sing a song to us; sometimes happy, sometimes sad. No matter the message, it's always something important. A wonderfully expressed poem. Sounds Mattie Stepanek like. Good luck in the contest.
