Sometimes I like to write in prose,
About any subject, I suppose.
From funerals to picking my nose.
How revolting is that?
Though honestly I'd rather write in rhyme,
It works well with humour most of the time,
But those poetry snobs think it's such a crime.
How stupid is that?
I enjoy writing stories too,
Mainly for children is what I do.
One day I'll write a thriller or two.
How about that?

Lots of snobs about, which is interesting since they mere dilettantes who know no more than anyone else...though their forte is pretending they do.

Yes, rhyme works well with humor, that alone gives it a current value.

There are some AP poets who cannot anonymously enter one of my contests, this was a definite potanical, who else puts picking her nose in the same space as a funeral?
Wonderful!
