autumn cool, crisp air
harbingers winter's solstice
days become shorter
***********************************
beautiful glow shines
aurora borealis
encapsulating
***********************************
snow gently falling
crystals of unique wonder
peaceful for the soul

Thank you for your entry into mu ku contest. All three of these haiku are very well sritten and paint a very nice picture of winter. -
Very nicely done. This is the second haiku about winter or fall. I'm going to have to turn up the thermostat pretty soon!
Great haiku!

Beautiful imagery....
I love to read and write haiku about the beauty in nature. This permeates the senses. I, too, would love to see the Aurora Borealis. I've seen some pretty spectacular photos of it. I can imagine it would be encapsulating to see it up close. Very well done! Good luck with Swan Song's contest.

All are wonderful
But especially enjoy the middle one. I'd love to witness the aurora borealis within my lifetime. Good stuff!
