Memories

I found a letter in a box
I already new what it had said
I thought about it for a while
I wasn't sure if I should pick it up

I picked it up
Read each word out loud
Tears filled my eyes
My heart began to break all over again

I thought about us
I remembered us
How everything used to be

I drove around for a while
Still thinking about you
I ended up driving past your house
