It's a nice tribute to whomever it is who helped you, that's certain. Did you show it to him/her?
Just a quick hint for future reference: it's good to show, not tell, and to experiment with style. I'm not sure how long you've been writing poetry, but in any case, experiment with poetic devices, sentence structure, and vocabulary.

hey
no I didn't show her it was to my teacher she helped a lot I was going to give it to her but I didn't. I just started writing I had no one at the time to talk to so I just started putting it on paper I've been writing for only a month or two. -
