My heart is beating,
a cliche, i know,
but it's very true
i can see why people use it all the time.
I'm up next,
and i can feel all of the eyes staring
at the velvet dress
that my mother made me wear.
I sit down at the stool,
and hit the first note,
"bing!" an ugly sound,
ooooooohhh, drat.
Another try,
wrong again.
and another. .
and another. .
finally I decide,
oh, darn this begining,
and i start two measures later in my piece.
And when i was done the audience clapped,
"thanks for trying to mke me feel better guys,"
I said to myself.
I dismally failed,
oh well, there's always
another concert.

Ok, this actually happened to me last friday the 8th, i think.
Wow, i felt so bad, i could just feel the sorrow in my parents eyes without even looking at them.
SO? DO YOU FEEL BAD FOR ME YET?

KC kathyrn THATS NOT TRUE. I can tell dad and mom they would be disapointed. I know i'm a tattletailing brat. Why do you think mom and dad was sad? They were proud that you tried! Why do you do this?

oh, it's ok lindsay. . . you misread my thingy here. . .I meant that they felt bad for me, so the sorrow was for me, it isn't so bad.
