Wretched tenderness
tiny streams carving stone
a fissure blooms
And so fells a mountain
into the unmoveable seas
unfathomable, impenetrable
rising nevermore.
And yet tender hope springs
giving birth to sickness in heart,
The singing soul forgets
winds ceaseless, carry off our notes.
a blue ribbon storm
in dainty tea cups.
With one sip, maybe two,
a careful smile and covetous glance
swallows a world.
