I hear the blast of ship’s whistle blowing.
As scattering of finger clouds whisk by.
Blazing ball of hot fire setting in the sky.
Flock of seagulls flying around crowing.
Ship’s bough heads out as water is flowing.
Breath taking view, pausing with a long sigh...
Stage is set, the trip home and good bye.
Romance has blossom, as ship is going.
Walking along the deck, glorious moon.
Wonder if courtship can take up again.
Home away from a romantic vista.
Thoughts must of shown, my face had gloom.
My tears were running down my face like rain.
Smile assured me, dancing at the fiesta.

Beautiful write. I liked the flow of this. The rhyme of it was different, but it seemed to flow well. Wonderful imagery and emotion in this piece. Good luck in the contest.
