You did me wrong
But now you’re gone!
I gave you the boot,
I’m going back to my roots.
You were in cahoots
with others, but I soon discovered
all your lies, don’t try to legitimize!
I don’t want to hear, this was never my fear –
that you’d betray me….but your love turned.
My heart got burnt, a hard lesson I’ve learnt.
I walk alone now.
I’ve dried my tears, and with the passing of the years,
realized that you can’t have what was never real in the first place.
