I Know What It's Like

I know what it is like
to be
ignored,
to be unloved,
out in to cruel, cold world.

I know what it is like
to be
unpopular,
where everyone looks down on me,
like a squashed bug on the marble floor.

I know what it is like
to be
unwanted,
to be invisible,
as if no one can even see me.

But. . . . . .
I KNEW what it was like
to be LOVED,
and included,
so I felt like there was a reason to live.

I knew what it was like
to be
in the "loop".
I didn't realize
how important it was to me
until I was out of it.

I once knew all of these
wonderful things,
where have they gone?
Now I'm out in the cold,
Lost and afraid,
And I know I have nowhere
to GO.

This is sorta about my life, except not this extreme. . . . I'm not this drpressed. . . now i know why meredith likes to write depresing poems. It's kinda fun. For the contest my emotions are: DEPRESSED AND LONELY

    this is ok, but I really can't relate to it because It all has to do with school.... so in that case I'm not going to reply to the "school" ones.

    at first, i was like, 'ooh, that's too bad. kathryn's starting to write depressing poetry. huh.' and then i was all like 'oh, yay! it's turning happy now!' and then i was like, 'oh poop, it turned sad again.'
    i don't really like the feel, but it was a nice write overall, and i hope you're really exaggerating the feelings expressed *nods*

    This is really good your sistting write next to me I love the I know what it's like paret that is my favorite part! I can feel liek the person in the is talking about ther life you know I'm just doing this for points!
