Some people
can never
discern, it's
full meaning,
until years
have gone
by, and they
listen to
the inflections
and really try.
Our island is
full of magic
and myth.
It is said you
belong, or
you leave,
forthwith.
I was attracted,
like magnet to
steel,
no other home
gave me this
feel.
Here on the island,
the meaning is
strong.
I go by
Islekine,
because
I belong.
