I am amazed after sharing so much injustice and betrayal that your husband's fell victim to that you are still capable of compassionate thought and that your faith in The Light was not erased because of that. Thomas Mann should also have written that it is love that separates us from the animals that in many other ways are similar to ourselves.
I am so pleased that you have your cherished memories to sustain you and your love through the long, dark nights that ironically are welcomed by you as they give you the dreams that still unite your souls and hearts, proving that love does indeed conquer death. Strangely, the night is your light.
