A spark is lit and begins to spread
A Mother's eyes reflect the dread
Flames twist into a wicked smile
Baby won't you stay a while
Fire consumes a bountiful ground
Suffocating until shes drowned
The fire and flames continue to grow
Decisions stained crimson in snow
Silver beads fall from the sky
The mother's heart would break and cry
The clouds weep at whats been done
In the end the fire has won
A Mother's eyes reflect the dread
Flames twist into a wicked smile
Baby won't you stay a while
Fire consumes a bountiful ground
Suffocating until shes drowned
The fire and flames continue to grow
Decisions stained crimson in snow
Silver beads fall from the sky
The mother's heart would break and cry
The clouds weep at whats been done
In the end the fire has won
Author notes
This is a poem i wrote for English class, we are doing romanticism. It is about the elements of Fire and Water and their correlation to Sin and Remorse. On the topic of abortion
A mothers sin to take the life of her own child(fire)
and the remorse and sadness she feels(rain)
But what she has done can not be undone so the fire wins
On a side note i support abortion, so it doesn't make much sense that i wrote about this topic, but it came to me.
Please tell me what you think
