After that first date
I realized that I loved you.
After that first year
I thought that love was mutual.
We shared so much together.
Friendship,
Time,
Secrets,
A last dance.
I thought it was enough.
I believed we could start a relationship,
Become more than just friends.
I wanted that.
I thought you did too.
Now I'm hurt, and crying on my bed,
Trying to cope with the pain.
I never thought this would be how it ended.
I guess,
I thought wrong.

i really liked this. i thot i was in love at one time to . and then come to find out they didnt love me the way i loved them it really hurts but mabey someday we can both find love and end the pain and lonlyness we both feel. good job.

I guess some people are a little un lucky when it comes to love but I am sure you will find your someone special that will love you you expressed your emotion well within the lines you pennes good luck in the contest
