To Taste A Poem

Missing image

When whispers join wings
across distant shores;

humble smiles
kissing the horizon
with gentle gathering

finding feathers
as cloud to dream upon

where wishes are within reach

and magic melts the hearts
of those who believe.

I searched my soul
for a love like this
to weather any storm

bridging the distance with light
from your singing spirit.

When my petals ache,
your breeze blows breath
upon my flower,

buds blooming
to taste a poem.

I taste this blush of humble fingers,
