The pain love can bring!! A deeper wound than anything we might do to ourselves. This says a lot in those 14 words! Great emotion.

Whispered words in the night, intense like a scream but soft like a murmur. Silky, if that makes sense, but sharp. I like the way you captured the sometimes dual nature of love - it can heal us, but what heals, all too often, is endowed with the power to hurt us and shatter us. Very well worded and phrased.
