Safe haven

She sat there staring at a blank wall
The pride, they told her, always comes before the fall

She doesnt know what to do
everything she knew was too good to be true

Somebody whispers, It'll be ok, you'll see
but she doesnt believe them, how can it be?

She looks around for anything to relieve the pressure
Nothing around that might inflict pain or end it for her

A safe place, she knows,
a place free of black cats and crows

NO superstitions to worry about now
None of that do they allow

Thank God for a safe haven, a place to get away
A place where they only allow day

NO darkness, only light
Now to try to be ok, all through this dark night

Please tell me what you think
