Tones
(both of color
and sound)
dance sweetly,
if foreignly,
from red lips
through blue eyes.
I've forgotten
everything
just to hear
purple speak.

Nice, bringing color to life with sound with words.

i love the use of red near blue to create your first instance of purple.. i think this is a wonderfully creative piece- if i was to
make a suggestion it would be to eliminate the hot and the cold.. the colors do that for us already.. they give the hot and cold..
plus.. red hot lips sounds comic book to me..
but that said .. i think this is a wonderful piece that does not sound comic book at all.. only that one word..
i know i'm going on.. but i really like this and hope to read more of you in the future -

Thanks.
I actually didn't have hot and cold in this poem originally.
Thank you!!

i like the idea of all the tones of purple here, it has so many different symbolic stands. i once read "purple is black blooming"
( some wonderful poet wrote that) and i felt as if i understood what he meant.. here in your write, i think your purple is passionate...and i hope in your life you find every tone of it you seek
