Older sisters

We laugh and cry about the good times and the bad.
Your there to talk whenever i am sad.
no matter what you do i hope...
you know i will always love you
we may not have been born in the same family,
but you are the sister of my heart.
I think of all the things i have told you when i was so mad
and am glad your my sister because then i dont feel so bad
i know you would never tell someone what i said
because we love each otherand always have.
our personalities go together just like peanut butter and jam
i love you V and always will cause you the sister i never had.

A touching poem britt. Reminds in a way of that reference to a sister at the end of Christina Rossetti's poem: 'Goblin Market'.

    V is very lucky!!!

You have a very wonderful talent for writing poetry as portrayed by this poem. Sometimes ppl all too ofter form bonds with others that are so much more than friendship, but not blood and not love for romance, but love for needing someone to talk to. I love this poem. Good job with this. Keep up the awesome work, and maybe if you like love poems you could check out some of mine sometime. I look forward to reading more of yours.
