Shakespeare and post-modern
minimalism,
are not friends:
"that which we call a cunt
By any other name would smell as fishy" -
though it might have changed
the sticky ending
toward one better suited
for the young
and literally minded.

Too funny! But I'm with Suzanne on the pairing thingy...

This is fucking charming. Fucking totally charming. My old Mum would have loved this, but she's in the incontinence ward and is well out of it.

what is there not to like about this? from the title, to the sense of irony, to the wonderful and seemingly inevitable conclusion... love "sticky ending"
a pleasure to find this piece in the contest!

Oh I don't know ... Willie was wordy but he could appreciate a good line

ebhil ginsberg huh? lol. i loved it.
yours truly,
drama princess.

Absolute genius. I loved it- to be perfectly honest.
Simplicity is always best. I knew with the opening lines
"Shakespeare and post-modern
minimalism,
are not friends"
that it was going to be excellent- and it was. Congratulations- you've written the first poem I've actually had something nice to say about all day. -
lol
this is a great entry
love the cunt/fishy smell line
though
why do people insist on pairing the two?!
