As I Drove Away

The sizzling summer left me aglow,
as our passion molting the fire of love.

Two souls capturing the burning desire,

like flames that flicker upon a candle.

Luminating brilliant colors of red,

by two as in a dance of enchantment.

Now, I escape with the warmth of a breeze,

as the sky flares in crimson and shades red,

Mother Nature lights the torch from what's past,

as I drove out of sight of my dear love.
