You placed me
sticky side up
on blades of grass
that stung as needles
beneath my paper shell skin,
leaving my lungs exposed
to nauseous fumes;
suffocation would be less
painful than the torture
that escaped your lips,
burning my dying flesh-
Your smile was all I needed
to remind me that death
was only temporary and
revenge rested in eternity

-Your smile was all I needed
to remind me that death
perhaps it can be shortened to
your smile reminded me
First stanza rocked.

wow...sad. and really makes the mind spin. good write.
It made my mind see torture in a new way...kinda not nice but very good graphic words.
