Sun going down, night gathers round
I plunge into darkness and silence profound
Moon up on high shines in the sky
Stars twinkle gently a sweet lullaby
Soft yet seductive they call
Dance for us, sing to us
Bathe in our light
Come and be one with us
Child of the night, of the night
Forest of night comes into sight
Branches entwining to choke out the light
Leaves rustle through, cleanse me anew
Soft leafy branches caressing me true
Sweetly enticing they call
Embrace us and join with us
See with our sight
Come and be one with us
child of the night, of the night
Howling so strong, sweeping along
Wind whistles by me compels me along
Soft in my ear, says not to fear
Whirling around me and holding me near
Strident, demanding it calls
Ride with me, fly with me
Savour my might
Come and be one with me
Child of the night, of the night
Dark waters rise, lights in my eyes
Lake full of starlight it shifts and it sighs
Croons to me see all you can be
Heaven awaits you and I hold the key
Crooning, entrancing it calls
Bathe in me, lie in me
Know that I'm right
Come and be one with me
Child of the night, of the night
Darkness demands, a siren's delight
Entreating, commanding
Be one with the night
Answer I give, loving and true
Surrender at last
as I fall into you, into you, only you
