The forbidden taste
Of this kiss
Dripping off of our sinful lips?
Words are deceiving
Built up on lies
And promises

Whispered words
Tempt me in
As morals scream out
And the pain begins.
Your fingers
Run down my spine
Tracing the curves
And crevices,
As you pull me closer.
Ask me dear, if it’s alright,
I say yes
But my eyes deceive me
The truth lies beneath them.
I can’t do this
You pull back
Hold me in your eyes,
Say nothing.
Apology
Slips through my trembling lips
And I try to find the words
But you silence them with one simple kiss.
And now I watch
As you push me away
Can you taste the forbidden pleasure
Of our kiss?
