I could not eat you,
but thank you for the image,
bloated, rotting corpse.
Please tell me what you think

filthy gorgeuos
I'd eat you -
eewwww...!
This was quite amusing, yet quite disturbing.
I kind of get the feeling this is more of a metaphor and not meant to be taken at face value.
I haven't figured the metaphor out yet.
Thanks for the image hon.... really went well with my lunch!
Glad to see you writing!!!

hahahahahahahahah
thanks
Actually, this was originally narrated in my head at face value, (Yes, I occassional narrate random poetry to myself for my amusement, and see the entirety of what is in my vision as a piece of art.) And, anyway, it struck a chord with me in regard to a metaphor of experiencing life not as you would like to, and not even as how you think it could be best experienced, or even as it truly could be best experienced, but in experiencing life for what it is. So I remembered it and wrote it down when I got home. That was a few months ago, and I lost the scrap of paper, but I remembered, so I typed it up. -

lol
I knew there was more to it.
I do the same thing though, I narrate poems to myself and try to get somewhere to write them down before they are lost to oblivion.
I like that you were able to link something literal to something metaphorical. -
