Staring up at the sky,
The stars twinkle with a gentle blue,
Unlike anything of this planet.
As the night grows deeper,
The stars grow more numerous,
Entertaining with a cosmic light show.
Laying in the grass,
With each blade stroking my back,
I slowly drift into a peaceful slumber,
Leaving all plagues back on Earth,
I enter a dream world,
Where I feel invincible.
The time I spent there was just enough,
Because when I awoke, I felt rejuvenated, and ready to face the day.
I only wish that feeling could last forever.
