Oh how I miss you my dear.
I long to hold you near.
Though wisdom could never ascertain,
Losing you has brought so much pain.
My heart aches when I see your face.
My mind cannot conceive that you are in a better place.
I will hold onto your smile.
Though it may be for a little while.
When my life has come to pass,
You will greet me in heaven.
With a sweet embrace at last.
Together we will remember the past.
A fathers love for all time.
And rest assured, my love,
I will walk the line.
