I feel my defenses beginning to crumble
In pieces my barriers begin to crack
Now I am beginning to stumble
While screams come up from within the black
Each time my unreality wants me to stumble
Her efforts are always pushed back.

    i'm not quite sure if this really fits into the category of poems i was looking for in my contest. might want to read the rules a bit more carefully
