The Last Love Poem

This feels like murder in the third degree
Had my head in the clouds
It's truly amazing that I finally came back down
You came through my life, like a hurricane
Left everything you touched into dust
Left my heart in a million pieces
I kept it all inside so you couldn't see it
I miss you when your not around

The seasons changed
But, the pain is here to stay
I met someone and thought it was you
Everytime I turn around I see your face
I long run away just like you did
To feel the wind and the heat of the sun
To know that I will be okay
Even if I'd never see you again

    WOW

I havnt read or written anything in a while, but i sure am glad that i picked this one. I like the emotion, and the imagrey. The writing seems natural, not like it was forced.....your poem is more like a sweet sorrow filled river, not a stale ugly man-made canal.

This is really wonderful. I love the emotions here. It's sad but there's still hope in it. I know how this feels to have someone leave and yet you can't seem to get them off of your mind. How you seem to see or feel them everywhere. Great job.

It seems like it's been forever since I've read any of your stuff, this is great just like everything else I've seen of your writing. Keep up your writing, don't stop, you have a lot of talent.
