Beneath the sunset,
My heart
Had cast a thousand thoughts
Like small ships on the ocean
My love wandered adrift
Inside the bottle
That carried a letter
With the contents of my heart
That had been written
Upon a golden leaf
That melted all the words
When touched by the sun
A hundred days adrift
All my heart and thoughts
Floundered for you endlessly
Taking me far away
Just waiting to be caught by you
And gently tossed by a wave
And lead to the sand on the shore
To be caressed in your hand
And to be lost in your love only
