I wished for an angel be sent down to me
A girl who would most definitely be
The one in which I'm to spend the rest of my life
And to be there for when she needed me through strife.
I'd hold her close to my heart
Knowing deep down inside
My happiness was with her
For her love for me is most pure.
I wished for an angel
And for so many years she hasn't yet come
Hopefully, soon she'll be sent down from Heaven
And give me the love I've waited to feel.
I'm looking for the right thing to do
But all I know is that I want to be with you
You've helped make all my dreams come true
And I just want to give my love to you.

Ooooo! This is quite nice. Any woman should count herself lucky to have this one read to her. One thing though I don't unsderstand, when you say, 'The one in which I'm to speck the rest of my life'... do you maean, 'The one in which I'm to spend the rest of my life'? Just wondering because 'speck' just doesn't sound correct there.
