Unemancipated Minds

Anger and frustration going through my mind,
ignorance and hate all around me,
all the time,
ignorance is a serious crime,

I'm so tired of arrogant people who don't know a thing,
who base theories on assumption and not fact,
just to hear their own voices sing,
and feel betrayed when corrected,
like they've been stabbed in the back,

too many haters who talk crap about people,
when the situation isn't known,
and when that person blows up on them,
then compassion is sometimes  shown,

people judge others on looks,
instead of who they are,
not realizing that their harsh comments are taken too far,

have you ever heard of not judging a book by its cover,
don't u realize that hating on a person affects others,
some people are driven to anger,
but others to far more serious dangers,

so please if you are going to make a comment,
make sure you have the facts straight,
before you open your mouth to speak,
open your eyes and please remember,
that your comments of ignorance reek.
