Religion

It isn't that fair.
People are persecuted
For no particular reason at all.

All they've done,
Is chosen a way,
Or no way
To believe in God.

When I'm sad or mad,
I pray.
When I'm happy or glad,
I pray.

Religion is a major part of my life.
Please don't make fun of me for it.
I didn't do anything wrong!
Just said I believed in God!

I'm not yelling at you,
Just getting your attention to say:
God is my Heavenly Father.

Don't diss him
By cussing
Or using his name in vain.
Because I love him.

My brother is Jesus Christ.
Please don't diss him either.
I love him.

When you disrespect my religion,
You're disrespecting God.
When you disrespect me,
You are disrespecting my spirit.

Religion is important to me.
I love it with all my heart,
So when people make fun,
It hurts like you wouldn't believe.
