Rainclouds

If you say that she's perfect, then you're living lies
I still see the grief behind her cloudy eyes
And what did she do to deserve such a mess?

Her pride is forsaken, her hope has been slain
And tears can't take away her pain

November 6, 2007.... My mom showed me a song one day and said it reminded her of my girlfriend. My girlfriend has had the worst life of anyone I know. Everything bad you could imagine has happened to her. The song was called Epitaph (Black and Blue) by Kris Kristofferson. I hated the music, but the lyrics were very poetic, so I decided to write something inspired by them.

    Great...it flowes wonderfully and the rythm is perfect! It's not really what i had in mind for this particular contest but all in all it is very good!
