Needles

Those needles you stick in me,
do you not see the pain in my eyes as you do it?
Those feelings I felt for you,
now evaporated after all those painful shots.
Those falling tears that left my cheeks,
do you not see them?
Those shakey hands of mine,
do you not see them when you come near me?
Those scary nightmares I have,
did you know they are about you?
I'm falling deeper inside myself,
more then I ever imagined possible.
As if all those bruises were enough,
you just leave another mark on me.
I'm listening to the music,
and it slowly fades away,
as you inject me with your poison.
Everything fades to black,
as the poison finally takes effect.
Then as if it wasn't enough,
I feel the sharp pain in my body,
the pain you feel when you're being hurt.
It hurts so much,
that I can barely breathe,
then after its over,
I'm left with an achy feeling.
So the next time you stick those needles in me,
just remember to look for the pain in my eyes,
and the tears falling down my cheeks.
