There’s something to be said for
Clarity
There’s something to be said for
Simplicity
But there’s nothing in you of
Either of these –
Not for me
I just want the key to your head
Cleverly locked, it’s
Keeping me confused and unsettled
Clinging to hints of Something Undiscovered
It’s keeping me
Trying to break in
I know I jeopardize everything
My ability to make decisions
To sleep, to eat
And yet I cannot stop because
There be secrets, there be news
I can’t help it
I just want the key to your head
Cleverly locked, it’s
Keeping me
