Morning rise and sunshine
Bringing with it hopes so fine
Enthusiasm is on the scale of 1 to 10
For sure, is no less than ten
Desires of yesterday forgotten
New wishes have to come true
It’s another new day
That’s so different from yesterday
The clock ticks everyday
Time span rotates every hour
On the hour completing 24 hours
With it recycles our lives
Giving a different shape every day
With our eyes open
Mind set on freedom
Heart beating rhythm
Adrenaline pumping through our veins
We start off our new beginning
Sure it’s only routine
Home, work, school and then back home
May be happy hour in between
But if we really look all around us
The birds chirping
Butterflies fluttering
Children playing
People walking
None of them we know
And yet give us a hello and a smile
The reason to appreciate beauty and unwind
Now unfortunately smiles are a rare commodity
So how can you say it’s only routine?
If you are still not convinced
Then change just one thing at a time
What you would want to change now
Don’t forget to take your practical class
Take the humble hand of humanity
Look into the eyes of kindness
Just show a little generosity
And see how life changes for good
If you have loved one
Waiting for you
To be with you
For granted you take them always
How about for a change
Take some flowers
Even if you pick the wild ones
On the way back home
Or visit a dollar store
Spend a buck from your pocket money
Do anything, doesn't have to be big, something small
Just show your love for them
And watch your life take a turn
What do you think, for worse or for better?
Change is a natural phenomenon
But we need to open eyes of our heart
Free our shackled minds
And look all around
The life has so much to give
In return all we need to do
Is to live our life for better or for the worse
Through the ups and downs
Remembering that tomorrow is another day
Full of surprises for us to unfold
That if not kill us, would only make us stronger
To fight back and wait for another day
So, change something from yesterday
For a better tomorrow
By living today
Change yourself for better
To add smiles in your consciousness life
That would stay with you for ever
So you can go before higher powers
On your judgment day
With clean soul without the halo of guilt
Circling above your head
But change not tomorrow
Change yourself now, today

i started to think on your second stanza, from there i was just wowed. this is a wonderful positive piece of poetry.
I try to live this very way every day myself. As today I saw and caused and shared many smiles. It was a wonderful day and followed well with this poem of yours. Excellent!!!!!
