Where you can't stop grinning?
You feel like you're on top of the world,
And that no one can stop you?
You're so full of joy,
You act a little crazy?
And you share that lovely feeling
With the people that care?
Ever had that feeling
Of sheer guilt and pain?
That cuts you like a knife
And doesn't let you escape?
You sulk all day thinking
Of how stupid you were to do such a thing?
People who care try to help you,
But you just brush them away?
Ever had that feeling
Of the warmth of someone's love?
That indescribable feeling
That you alone want to hold?
That feeling that beats all else,
And that can lift you up like an angel?
That feeling..

This poem was so nice... and so sweet!!! And it was a great pleasure to read this poem! wonderful! i love the second stanza though... it was just so true... i've done that so many times... cant help it... and now i feel guilty! SAD!

wow. wow. wow. I can relate to every single line here dear- you've described them so well. reading through, all I can say is that this was was simply a joy to read.
each stanza held something different, something unique I have felt so many times before but never had the words to express them. You described them so well, until it felt as if I was reliving that love, the joy, the guilt- all over again. simply awesome!
