When I received life
You lovingly held me close
Every single step of the way
You guided me & loved me the most
But it seems as I grew up
I grew distant from you.
Took you for granted
But I still love you, I do
One time when I was young,
My tiny temper blew.
For some stupid reason
I started screaming at you.
That haunts me up till today;
The guilt is always there.
Ever since you passed away,
Now I say this prayer:
Dear Halmoni, I'm so sorry
I hope the the tears that I cried
Will make up for my mistakes
Without you, I'm cold inside
I hope you're resting in Heaven
And God is taking care of you
I love you so much, Halmoni
Really, I do.

this is such a touching piece and I could relate so well! I love the way you expressed this piece. There is so much love within. the third stanza had me remembering an incident and tears welled up.
my Granny and I were playing cards and I got angry and I screamed at her and she was at a loss for words and almost in tears.
your appologies are heard dear friend and just be strong. my Grandparents are still here but they are not too healthy. I am scared but staying strong!

i only have one side of my grandparents and I pray constanly for them to be healthy.
My birthday wishes are not for a new handphone or to get top in class, but for my grandparents to live long and enjoy life.
They are really very precious.

I am so sorry for your loss, dear I am sure that she is happy in Heaven, that she is looking over you and is proud of you.
reading this, I felt like crying...there is so much sadness in your lines. your lines were poignant and painful, and they were so hard to read- because these emotions are real and from you, my dearest friend.
I can relate to this loss- I've lost grandparents too and my mom. All I can say is that in time, the pain becomes lesser. And I will always be there beside you dear, no matter what.
